SPECIAL EVENT BEVERAGE & BAR SERVICES
Legends retains a Georgia liquor license; The Georgia State Liquor Commission regulates the sale and service of all alcoholic beverages. As a licensee and by law, we must provide any/all liquor, beer, wine and/or nonalcoholic beverages served at any function held at the Legends Banquet & Special Event Center.
- Our staff and managers have been trained in our Alcohol Awareness Program. It is the policy of Legends to comply with all state and local laws pursuant to alcoholic beverage service, including, but not limited to:
- Persons under 21 years of age are NOT permitted to consume alcoholic beverages.
- ANY persons who are known to be intoxicated will not be served alcoholic beverages.
- ALL alcoholic beverages consumed on the property must be purchased from Legends.
- Unauthorized alcohol brought onto the premises will be confiscated.
- The client is responsible for assisting Legends management in behavior control resolving any alcohol related issues involving their participants or guests.
- Georgia Law prohibits donated alcoholic beverages.
- The Legends Banquet & Special Event Center provides plastic cups & glasses. Glassware must be rented from a verified vendor.
- Legends beverage packages are specifically designed to give you a wide variety of selections.
- Legends can provide a full non-alcoholic or alcoholic service bar and/or cash bar, with a wide choice of liquors, beers, and wines for your event.
- Alcoholic bar service is available for up to four hours during an event and will close down thirty minutes prior to the end of the event.
Tax & Gratuity
- All beverages are subject to a 20% service charge and 8% sales tax applies to all beverage and service charges. An additional 3% Georgia alcohol sales tax applies to all liquor charges.
Bartenders & Barbacks Beverage Service – “Bar Staffing”
- One (1) Bartender and one (1) Barback will be supplied by Legends for any beverage package. One bartender is required per seventy-five (75) guests. A fee of $150.00 per additional bartender is applicable for any beverage service options. Extended service beyond the four hour beverage package is $50.00 per-hour, per-individual.
Special Service Orders
- The Legends Banquet & Special Event Center may special order alcohol for an event. The client must pay for special-orders in advance. The order will be placed with a licensed distributor. Prices will be quoted before order is placed, and will be based on the distributor’s cost plus Legends costs and handling fees. Following the event, unused bottles cannot be returned to the distributor for reimbursement. The client or user may NOT take unopened bottles from the premises due to city and state laws. Requests for special orders will not be taken less than ten business days prior to the event.
Table Side Wine Service
- House wine may be offered to the table and will be billed on consumption. Premium wine selections, Château Ste. Michelle Chardonnay and Blackstone Merlot, are available. One wine server, at $125.00 each, will be required for every five guest tables.
Passed Champagne Toast
- Champagne may be passed by our staff to your guests, offering our house champagne, J. Roget, or our premium champagne, Domaine Ste. Michelle. Included will be a non-alcoholic alternative for guests not consuming alcohol. Cost includes all staff charges.
Host Bar Set Up
- Our banquet bar set-ups are fully stocked and feature the following: call, premium, or cordial brand liquors, beer, wine, soft drinks (Coca Cola products), tea, and deluxe coffee service. Mixers include orange, cranberry, pineapple and grapefruit juices, tonic water, club soda, Bloody Mary mix, Vermouth, Apple Pucker, Triple Sec and lemons, limes, maraschino cherries, and green olives, as garnishes.
Hosted Non-Alcoholic Beverages
- For clients opting to have only non-alcoholic beverages in your bar, which would include Coca-Cola products, Coke, Sprite, Diet Coke, ginger ale and our southern brewed sweet iced tea.
Deluxe Coffee Station
- Ideal with dinner, dessert, wedding cake, or prior driving home, at the end of a fabulous party. Freshly brewed Starbuck’s, Dunkin Donuts, or other regular or decaffeinated coffees, with gourmet creamers and assorted herbal teas, including our southern brewed sweet iced tea.

Cash Bar Service
- For a cash bar, the renter pays only the cost of the bartenders (note above), which is due one month prior to the event date. Bars are cash or credit card only.
Host Bar Service - "by the drink"
- For a host bar service based on consumption, or “By the Drink”, the client pays the cost of bartenders & staff (note above) as well as, the cost of the liquor, beer, and/or wine poured. Client will be billed for an estimated per person, per hour, or the beverage minimum, whichever is greater. Costs are due one month before the event. The balance will be adjusted following the event based on actual consumption.
Host Bar Service - "by the hour"
- The host bar service, based on “By the Hour”, is available only with listed beverages - no special orders. The client will be billed for the “By the Hour” estimate, or the beverage minimum, which ever is greater. Costs are due one month before the event. Adjustments can be made, following the event, for fluctuations in actual guest counts.
Special Toast Promotion
- Any four (4) hour liquor package will include a complimentary house champagne toast for guests over 21 years of age. Included will be a non-alcoholic alternative for guests not consuming alcohol.
